And once she’s dropped the shroud
Plane lights vacuum up the clouds
Chasing your own breath with another and another
Till you see no orange glow
The planes have put the stars on show
All that can be seen is just in sight
The free reign of all that bite
A branch snapping two miles away
Spawns creatures and the rational of green berets
Up the hill and over ordered by my gut
There’s no competing rush
Seconds back
My fangs
Retract
Rain through the trees and streets outside
Wind carries all the weight inside
Wrapped up tight is where I’ll Be
A lead sheet a bedrock
Until the bad men knock
A season’s purpose is innate
We all need to recuperate
The only synergy so strong
Strong enough to make me feel like I belong
Bulbs whether harsh or soft
Reveal more obstacles when they’re switched off
Grains and grains fight their way to the very bottom first
No time to find the worst
In light
You wake
In fright
Rain through the trees and the streets outside
Wind carries all the weight inside
Wrapped up tight is where I’ll be
Till the bad men come for me
Once she’s pulled back the shroud
And the planes have vacuumed up the clouds
It’s time for an alarming truth in your right ear
You just don’t fit here
And that is the black rat
